Lakeside SEction 

Welcome to Mendip Spring Lakeside Section.

The Lakeside 9 hole Course was the start of the Mendip Spring complex, the 18 hole Brinsea Course came later in 1992 and we now have a 27 hole complex, second to none.

The Lakeside section stands alone as a valued part of Mendip Spring as it encourages beginners both male and female to take up the game of golf, all of whom we hope continue learning and eventually play on the Brinsea Championship Course. It suits all standards of golfers, even the experienced players who are under constraints of time, work or family, they find it a good way of being able to play their golf.

The lakeside course is a fully measured course and conforms to the latest WHS handicapping system which includes slope and course ratings, so to get a handicap Is no problem, competitive golf is offered via competitions which are organised regularly both in the week and at weekends.

Friendly team golf against other local clubs is encouraged.

Lakeside membership allows access to golf and all the amenities of the complex including any social activities.   Overall the Lakeside Members are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
