Mendip Spring has a team of  PGA Professional golfers available for individual and group golf coaching for men, women and juniors of all standards of play to help you with your game.

Our State-of-the-art TrackMan performance studio and GC Quad studio, driving range and short game facilities can all be utilised to help you with any part of your golf game.

Open to both members and visitors, the 2 Performance Studios boasts a TrackMan launch monitor and GC Quad. If you’ve never used one before, it gives us tremendous insights into your game, helping to map out your bespoke improvement plan. It really is an incredible piece of equipment.

Golf lessons are be tailored to a person’s needs, covering any aspect of the game that needs improvement, including driving the ball with power and precision, consistent iron play and the delicate skills of chipping and putting to help save you shots off your score. High Speed Video analysis enables our golf professionals to help you correct any problems in your technique.

A regular Saturday morning feature at the Club is junior golf tuition for girls and boys. Mendip Spring is proud of its record of developing young golfers.

In 2011 the Club was awarded the prestigious GolfMark, a national scheme run by the English Golf Union that identifies and recognises junior and beginner-friendly clubs. Our commitment to young people and beginners is absolute and this Award is recognition of this fact. • Will became a fully qualified PGA Professional in 2017, but has been at Mendip Spring since 2013 where he began his studies.

• Will was short listed in the Top 4 in the UK for Foremost PGA Assistant of the Year 2016. 

• He prides himself on his friendly personality, working with all abilities tailoring each lesson specifically to the individual pupil.

• During his sessions Will uses the latest technology such as V1 Coaching Software coupled with a GC Quad launch monitor. This allows each pupil to have all the statistics, as well as a visual of the movements made throughout the swing.

• Luke’s passion for the game of golf started at 10 years old. Having played golf at county level for Somerset and as an England International throughout the bulk of his glittering amateur career based at Mendip Spring Golf Club, winning the Finland Amateur and Berkshire Trophy, Luke decided to turn professional off +4 handicap. After playing full time for a number of years on European mini tours and the Europro Tour, Luke took the route into coaching and is a fully qualified PGA Professional with a wealth of experience now proudly joining the team at Mendip Spring Golf Club. 

•  Luke Collins is a specialist PGA Coach utilising TrackMan technology. Luke has a reputation as one of the most sought after coaches in the South West, establishing a great reputation with all level of golfers, helping you to play your best golf! • Katie turned professional in 2012 and has been rewarded AA status. 

• Katie then furthered her studies and became the youngest professional to receive the Director of Golf Degree and is qualified in golf psychology coaching.
